Russian occupiers once again attacked Kherson. As a result of the shelling, a woman lost her life, according to the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, a 65-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries due to the Russian shelling.

"An enemy projectile killed her in the courtyard of her own house," the Head of the Regional Military Administration reported.

He also added that a 27-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling.

"The victim received medical assistance, and he will continue his treatment on an outpatient basis," Prokudin added.

The situation in the Kherson region

After the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the right bank of the Kherson region, Russian forces continue to daily shell the region, including the city of Kherson. They employ heavy weaponry, aviation, and drones for their attacks.

Recently, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that the occupiers have intensified aerial strikes on coastal communities in the Kherson region.

Furthermore, today, due to an attack by a Russian drone on the village of Mykolaivka in the Kherson region, a local resident sustained severe injuries.
