Russian night attack on Ukraine: Air defense intercept 14 Shaheds
Russia attacked Ukrainian cities with Shahed drones on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, November 22. Ukrainian air defense shot down all the drones, according to the Air Force.
"From 8:00 p.m. on November 21 to 03:00 on November 22, 2023, the occupiers attacked from the south-eastern direction with 14 Shahed-type attack UAVs," the Air Force reports.
In addition, the Kh-22 cruise missile was launched from the Tu22M3 aircraft.
As a result of combat operations, all 14 enemy drones Shahed-131/136 were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Force.
Units of mobile fire groups, fighter aircraft, and anti-aircraft missile units were involved in the elimination of drones within the boundaries of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
As for the Kh-22 cruise missile, it did not reach its goal, it fell in the Zaporizhzhia region in an open area, and private houses of citizens were damaged by the blast wave. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that the air defense system was operating in the region. The enemy launched Shahed-type drones.
