The airfield in Taganrog, Rostov region, was allegedly under attack this morning, December 11. Russia blames Ukraine for the attack, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country claims that the strike "was carried out using Western precision weapons."

"During the investigation, it was reliably established that six ATACMS ballistic missiles of American production were used," the Ministry of Defense added.

As usual, the Russians boasted that none of the missiles reached their target, as two of them "were shot down," and the others were "deflected by electronic warfare systems."

"As a result of the missile fragments falling, there were casualties among the personnel," the ministry stated.

They also noted that two buildings on the technical territory of the airfield and three units of military vehicles, as well as civilian cars in the nearby parking lot, were damaged by shrapnel.

The Ministry of Defense also threatened that such an attack "will not go unanswered."

Meanwhile, media outlets reported that the target of the attack could have been the aircraft manufacturing plant in Taganrog.
