The number of casualties of the Russian ballistic attack on December 1 has increased to 45 in Dnipro, according to Vladyslav Haivanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

"Today, Dnipro mourns those whose lives were cut short by a Russian rocket strike yesterday. The Russians killed four residents," the statement says.

According to the latest data, the number of casualties from the Russian rocket strike has increased. Two more people have sought medical help. The total number of victims currently stands at 45.

Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region

Hayvanenko adds that on the evening of December 1 and the night of December 2, the Russian army also attacked the Lychkove community in the Samar district with strike drones. The strikes caused fires and damaged infrastructure.

In addition, Russia struck the Mezhova community in the Synelnykove district with a guided aerial bomb. Two elderly people were injured - a 77-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman.

Russian shelling continues in the Nikopol region. The Russians covered the Pokrovske community with artillery.

In total, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 7 Russian drones over the region.

Russian strikes on Dnipro

Yesterday morning, December 1, Russia launched a missile attack on Dnipro.

Initially, there were 4 killed and 15 wounded, but later the number of victims increased to 27.

As of 12:50 p.m., the death toll had risen to 4, with over 20 wounded.

Russian attack damaged 4 high-rise buildings and broke more than 200 windows. An educational institution, a charity warehouse, and several non-residential premises were also damaged.

Yesterday evening, it became known that 43 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. 30 wounded remain in hospitals. 10 of them are in severe condition.

On December 2, the city declared a day of mourning for the victims.
