In Sumy, the number of injured people as a result of the Russian rocket strike on April 13 has increased. Among them are 18 children, according to the Sumy City Council.

Currently, 125 people are known to have been injured, including:

  • 107 adults;
  • 18 children.

Also, 44 ​​people, including 10 children, are in the hospital. The condition of 7 is severe.

Russian rocket attack on Sumy on April 13

On April 13, on Palm Sunday, Russians attacked Sumy with 2 ballistic missiles. One of the missiles hit the city center, where many people were at that time. As a result of the Russian strike, the city suffered severe damage, and residential and non-residential buildings and transport were damaged.

According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, as of April 14, Russia had killed 35 people.

Yesterday, Ukrainian law enforcement officers showed the first footage from the scene of the Russian attack.

Russian strike caused outrage among the international community. Western leaders condemned Russia's actions, noting that its attacks demonstrate a lack of respect for human life.
