Russian missile hits Zelenskyy's hometown: Apartment buildings damaged, one injured

On the evening of December 3, an explosion was reported in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, after Russia attacked the city with ballistic missiles, according to the City's Military Administration Head, Oleksandr Vilkul.
A ballistic missile, reportedly an Iskander-M, struck an administrative building in the city. Preliminary information indicates that several nearby high-rise residential buildings were damaged as a result of the strike.
To coordinate rescue and recovery efforts, the administration set up a command post in a school located opposite the affected building.
Vilkul added that the fire caused by the strike has been extinguished and there is no further risk of it spreading.
Preliminarily, one woman was injured; her condition is not serious.
All emergency services are working on site — rescuers, medics, and local authorities. They continue inspecting surrounding buildings to assess the extent of the damage and ensure the safety of residents. Local authorities urge citizens to follow safety measures, stay in shelters, and closely monitor official updates regarding the situation in the city.
A high-speed target towards Kryvyi Rih was detected around 5:44 p.m., with explosions occurring at 5:48 p.m.
