Russian missile hits Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region - One injured, fire breaks out (video, photos)

On the afternoon of July 15, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the town of Ochakiv in Ukraine's Mykolaiv region, causing a fire and injuring a local resident, Vitalii Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, and Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) report.
At approximately 12:40 p.m. local time, Kim confirmed the missile strike, stating that a 69-year-old man was injured and hospitalized as a result.
"A grass fire broke out outside the city, emergency crews are on site," Kim added.
Ukraine's Air Force had earlier issued a warning about a high-speed aerial threat heading toward Ochakiv.
Later, the SES clarified that the missile strike ignited dry grass and shrubs in an open area. Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, which spread across one hectare.
Earlier in the day, an enemy drone attack resulted in an explosion in Mykolaiv.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia, air raid alerts lasted more than 15 hours due to ongoing drone threats, and fires broke out in multiple communities in the Kharkiv region, with the Kupiansk district suffering the most damage.
According to Ukraine's Air Force, Russia launched 267 drones overnight, primarily Shahed-131/136, from multiple directions - including Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the occupied Donetsk region.
