Russian missile attack on Kharkiv: One person killed
As a result of a Russian missile attack on Kharkiv on the evening of January 16, a man lost his life, while another 17 people were injured, according to the head of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Volodymyr Tymoshko, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
Tymoshko said that 17 people were injured and one man lost his life due to the enemy missile strike with S-300 missiles on Kharkiv.
As reported by Syniehubov, among the wounded are 16 women aged 38 to 90 and a 31-year-old man. Three of them received assistance on the spot.
As of the morning of January 17, 13 injured individuals are in medical care, including a 43-year-old woman in extremely critical condition with a severe penetrating injury. A 39-year-old woman is also in serious condition, while others are in moderate to mild conditions.
19 buildings, including a hospital, and 14 cars have been destroyed or damaged in Kharkiv due to the Russian attack.
A total of 30 people have been evacuated.

Russian attack on Ukraine
On the evening of January 16, Russia launched missiles at Kharkiv. It was later revealed that multi-story buildings in the center of Kharkiv were damaged. The preliminary information suggests that the attack involved S-300 missiles launched from the territory of the Belgorod region.
Earlier reports indicated 12 casualties.
Also, during the night of January 17, after a warning of the threat of drone attacks in Odesa, a series of loud explosions occurred. Russian forces carried out drone attacks, resulting in several fires and three reported injuries.
