“My condolences to the families and loved ones,” added the head of the Regional Military Administration.
Earlier, around 10:30 p.m., news broke of an air attack on Dnipro. The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had warned of a ballistic missile threat.
According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, after the explosion in the regional center, residential buildings in one of the city’s districts were reported damaged.
He added that more detailed information about the aftermath of the attack on Dnipro would be provided later.
Shelling of Dnipro
It is worth recalling that on August 26, during a mass attack on Ukraine, Russian forces struck a dacha cooperative in the Dnipro district. One person was killed in the shelling.
It was also previously reported that a Russian strike in early July in Dnipro resulted in the deaths of four people, with 34 others injured.
