On the night of October 26, a powerful explosion occurred on the railway section between the temporarily occupied villages of Chernihivka and Stulneve in the Berdyansk district of Zaporizhzhia region, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR).

Preliminary data indicate that the explosion derailed a Russian military train carrying military equipment and supplies.

As a result of the operation targeting Moscow's military logistics, railway tracks were destroyed, paralyzing train movement.

"Along and across the twisted tracks ended up: one locomotive, three railway platforms, and at least nine freight cars of the enemy military train," HUR reported.

Operations near Tokmak

Earlier, the resistance movement ATESH provided Ukrainian defense forces with precise coordinates of Russian Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile systems deployed near Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia.

As a result of the strike, the enemy's air defense system was damaged.

"The particularly valuable information about the location of the air defense systems allowed the Ukrainian defense forces to deliver a serious blow to the occupiers' air defenses," the movement stated.

Earlier, we also reported that a large fire broke out near the occupied Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region, destroying a Russian fuel train. The enemy train may have been targeted by Ukrainian Defense Forces on the railway section between the villages of Levadne and Molochansk.

Eleven fuel tanks burned, and smoke could be seen from 15–20 kilometers away.
