In Zaporizhzhia, the number of wounded has again increased due to yesterday's Russian air strike with guided bombs. 113 people have been reported injured, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

There are already 113 wounded in Zaporizhzhia as a result of yesterday's Russian air strike.

“113 wounded, 10 of them in severe condition - these are the consequences of yesterday's Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia,” he said.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration added that the Russian army struck the center of Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs.

“Russia killed 13 people. Medical aid was provided to 113 victims, including a 13-year-old child. Currently, 59 people are hospitalized, 10 of them in severe condition,” he said.

As of 7 a.m, Kyiv time, on January 9, Fedorov reported that there were 109 wounded in Zaporizhzhia.

At the same time, last night it was known that 63 people were injured in the city due to a Russian strike with guided aerial bombs. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, 80 people sought help in hospitals.

13 people are killed.

Other consequences of Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a fire in an 800-square-meter administrative building and 3 cars was extinguished in Zaporizhzhia after a Russian air strike.

“In total, 4 administrative buildings, 27 cars and a tram were damaged. Emergency rescue operations have been completed,” the rescuers said.

On January 8, around 4 p.m. Kyiv time, Russian terrorists struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. 2 guided aerial bombs hit residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, the strike was on the main street of the residential area.

Initially, 3 wounded and a killed were reported, and later the number of injured and victims increased rapidly throughout the day and evening. It is also known that a 13-year-old girl was among the victims. Police paramedics rescued 5 people.

On January 9, a day of mourning will be declared in Zaporizhzhia.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian air strike on Zaporizhzhia. The head of state noted that there is nothing more cruel than bombing the city, realizing that ordinary civilians will suffer.
