The death toll from the Russian strike on Kyiv on Sunday, September 7, has risen. The body of another person was recovered from the rubble of a 9-story building in the Sviatoshinskyi district, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In the Sviatoshinskyi district of Kyiv, rescuers recovered the body of a man killed under the rubble of a destroyed 9-story building.

Thus, the number of victims of the Russian strike on the night of September 7 has risen to 3, including a child.

Russian attack on Ukraine on September 7

On the night of September 7, the Russians launched a massive attack on Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles. Kyiv was also hit.

As a result of the Russian attack and falling debris, residential buildings in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv were severely damaged.

Significant damage was recorded in the Sviatoshinskyi district. In particular, the 4th to 8th floors of a 9-story building were partially destroyed, and a large fire broke out.

At that time, 2 people were reported killed: a 32-year-old woman and her 2-month-old son.

Debris also hit a 16-story building, where the 15th and 16th floors caught fire. Fires also broke out in two other 9-story buildings.

In addition, the fire engulfed several cars near a service station and storage facilities.
