The number of victims of the June 24 Russian strike on Dnipro has risen again. The attack killed 20 people, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"Unfortunately, the number of victims of Russian rocket attacks on Dnipro has increased. There are currently 20 of them. With the deaths in the city of Samar, there are 22," the message says.

According to the latest data, 304 people were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Dnipro. 112 people remain in hospitals, including 7 children.

Russian strike on Dnipro

On the afternoon of June 24, Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles. According to Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov, it was one of the most audacious attacks on Dnipro in terms of damage over the entire period of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In Dnipro, infrastructure, educational, and medical institutions, administrative buildings, and buildings of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as well as a passenger train with more than 500 passengers, were under Russian fire.

Russia also struck other settlements in the region, including the city of Samar.

Due to the Russian strike, June 25 was declared a day of mourning in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
