Russian massive attack on Kyiv region kills 14, injures nearly 30

During a nighttime enemy attack on the Kyiv region, 14 people were killed, and 22 were injured. All of the injured are receiving the necessary medical care, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Currently, State Emergency Service units are operating at four locations in the Brovary вistrict, two in the Bucha district, and one in the Fastiv district.
"In the Brovary district, the Russian attacks caused large-scale fires in warehouse buildings in the city of Brovary, the village of Velyka Dymerka, the village of Kvitneve, and the village of Peremoha," according to a statement from the rescue services.
In the Fastiv district, a fire involving vehicles was extinguished on the premises of one of the enterprises.
Meanwhile, in the Bucha district, efforts are ongoing to extinguish a fire at a warehouse in the village of Chaiky. In the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, State Emergency Service personnel have now extinguished a fire on the premises of a logistics company.
"Rescue workers continue to operate under conditions of heightened danger, as the risk of repeated Russian strikes persists," the service adds.

Ukrainian Railways has suspended rail service in the Brovary district
In the Brovary district, rail service has also been disrupted due to attacks on logistics centers, as the tracks run nearby.
"According to preliminary reports, there are fatalities who were found on the railway platform near the attacked logistics centers," Ukrainian Railways reports.
During the massive Russian combined attack, train service and station operations were suspended, and station staff and train passengers were evacuated.
Massive Russian strike on Kyiv and the region
On the night of Wednesday, August 5, Russian forces struck the capital and the Kyiv region with ballistic missiles and drones. Massive fires broke out overnight in Kyiv itself, primarily in warehouses.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, one woman was killed, and over 20 people were injured.
Region
Several districts in the Kyiv region were also severely affected, including Brovary, Fastiv, and Bucha. This resulted in over 10 deaths and twice as many injured.
