Russian losses in the war on July 31: Ukrainian forces destroy another 490 soldiers and 21 artillery systems
According to the Ukrainian General Staff's Facebook page, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Monday morning, July 31, amounted to 490 occupiers. The total number of casualties in the Russian army since the invasion began is 246,190 military personnel.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 31.07.23 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 246190 (+490) persons were liquidated,
- tanks ‒ 4211 (+6),
- APV ‒ 8188 (+10),
- artillery systems – 4816 (+21),
- MLRS – 699 (+1),
- anti-aircraft warfare systems ‒ 460 (+1),
- aircraft – 315 (+0),
- helicopters – 311 (+0),
- UAV operational-tactical level – 4017 (+6),
- cruise missiles ‒ 1347 (+0),
- warships / boats ‒ 18 (+0),
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 7292 (+17),
- special equipment ‒ 715 (+4).
Frontline situation:
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually advancing in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, while the Russians are attempting to regain the initiative along the Svatove-Kreminna line.
According to the General Staff, over 20 armed clashes occurred on the frontlines during the past 24 hours. The defense forces destroyed 4 enemy Shaded drones, 8 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2 electronic warfare stations, and 2 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
