Last month, 35,203 Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded on the front lines. This marks the fifth consecutive month that Russia has lost more soldiers than it can mobilize, according to the Defense Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.

"In April, 35,203 Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded. All casualties were confirmed on video. This means that for the fifth consecutive month, Russia has been losing more troops than it is able to mobilize, and is gradually being overwhelmed by its losses. We are confidently moving toward the mark of 50,000 eliminated Russian troops per month," he notes.

Fedorov emphasizes that Ukraine’s goal is to inflict such heavy losses on the Russian occupiers that their further advance becomes impossible.

"We continue to systematically strengthen our air defense. Interceptor drones have already become an integral part of our air defense: 194 units have confirmed Shahed shootdowns, and once again we are recording record numbers of interceptions," the Defense Minister says.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the number of strikes at distances exceeding 20 kilometers has doubled compared to March and quadrupled compared to February.

The President also emphasized the need to increase the number of robotic missions. He noted that in April, over 10,200 logistics and evacuation tasks were carried out by the unmanned ground vehicles.

Over the past month, Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces struck 38 units of Russian air defense equipment worth approximately $1.1 billion.

Russia is recruiting foreigners from more than 130 countries, promising them rear-area duties but sending them into assaults. However, far from all of them survive. Over five thousand such fighters have been killed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
