Russian Iskander missiles strike Sloviansk: Hotel and dozens of houses destroyed

On the night of Thursday, August 28, the Russian army carried out strikes on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Because of the attack, people were injured, a hotel and dozens of houses were destroyed, according to the head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh.
According to him, around 03:00 a.m. Kyiv time, two powerful explosions sounded – the occupiers struck the city with missiles of the Iskander complex.
The first hit was recorded on Shevchenko Street – on the summer terrace of the restaurant of the hotel Ukraina. The second strike hit Andriivskyi Lane.
As a result of the shelling, damaged or destroyed were 35 multi-storey buildings, 2 private houses, 6 cars, an educational institution and 8 infrastructure objects.
According to preliminary information, four local residents received injuries. Rescuers and communal services are already working at the sites of the strikes.

Attacks on Sloviansk
Previously, in the evening of August 18, Russian troops attacked Sloviansk with the use of two Iskander-M missiles. The Russian forces hit the industrial zone of the Lisnyi neighborhood.
And on the evening of August 16, the city suffered two enemy shellings with the use of "Italmas" drones.
The first strike hit the railway neighborhood – a woman was injured,and private houses were damaged. The second struck the Lymany neighborhood, where residential buildings also suffered.
On the night to August 2, the army of the Russian Federation attacked the center of Sloviansk with kamikaze drones. A hotel and residential houses were damaged.
