Today, April 29, Russian forces used a missile with shrapnel to strike Odesa. It is designed to eliminate manpower, stated the head of the Strategic Communications Center of the Southern Defense Forces Dmytro Pletenchuk.
He noted that experts are still establishing the type of weaponry used by the Russian army.
“However, I can state that there are holes in the walls around the damaged object from shrapnel used to eliminate manpower and conduct combat operations, but not to attack civilian infrastructure and civilians,” emphasized Pletenchuk.
Shelling of Odesa
Today, on April 29, in the evening, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Odesa. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the palace of students of the local law academy.
According to the latest reports, 4 civilians were killed in Odesa - three women and one man. There is also information about 32 wounded.
RBC-Ukraine's sources also reported that former People's Deputy Serhiy Kivalov was wounded in the attack.
