Accelerating interceptor drone production
According to the president, the main issue discussed during a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was accelerating the production of systems designed to shoot down enemy drones.
Ukrainian manufacturers already have the capabilities needed to accomplish this task.
"Prototypes have been developed, and work is underway to bring this new weapon to the required level of effectiveness," Zelenskyy said, adding that it is important to complete the task within the set timeframe.

Involving businesses and an asymmetric response
During the meeting, officials discussed in detail the potential involvement of businesses in the production, supply and deployment of certain types of air defense systems.
Ukraine's broader goal is to build up its defense industry to a level that can provide sufficient quality and quantity of high-speed interceptor drones and low-cost missiles to counter Russia.
"Our intelligence agencies have clear information about the enemy's plans, and our resources are focused on providing a clear response to the threat. We will also act asymmetrically. The relevant operations have been approved," the president stressed.
Russian attacks
Following the latest massive attacks, Ukraine continues to face a high threat of new strikes using Russian weapons.
In particular, Russia is increasing the intensity of attacks involving jet-powered drones, resulting in air raid alerts lasting almost continuously in many regions and communities.
