Russian forces suffering enormous losses in Pokrovsk direction - ATESH

During the assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops are suffering enormous losses, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement ATESH.
An agent from ATESH in the 15th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation reported that the Russians have committed large forces to the assaults. The occupiers' desire to quickly capture Pokrovsk is turning into a major problem for them.
The 15th Brigade is suffering significant losses: personnel and equipment are being used on a large scale, but when the equipment fails, the soldiers lose coordination, leading to chaos and increased casualties.
Meanwhile, mothers and wives of servicemen are writing letters to Russian President Vladimir Putin, asking him to address the situation, but they are only advised to contact other authorities.

Frontline situation and Russian losses
According to the General Staff, today, August 20, there have been 87 enemy attacks on the front. The Russians forces are most active in the Pokrovsk direction, where they have conducted more than a third of all attacks.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have lost 1,330 soldiers, 26 armored combat vehicles, 52 artillery systems, and other equipment.
The total losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine are estimated to be around 601,800 military personnel.
