Russian forces struck center of Kharkiv: Civilian infrastructure damaged
Russian forces launched two missile strikes on Kharkiv, reportedly using S-300 missiles, this evening on January 3, according to information from the Telegram accounts of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Oleh Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration.
"Occupiers carried out 2 strikes on Kharkiv, reportedly using S-300 missiles. As of now, no casualties reported," stated the head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration.
He added that there is information about damage to non-residential civilian infrastructure in the central part of the city.
"Preliminary strikes in the center of Kharkiv. Information about casualties is being clarified. All relevant services are working at the sites of the impacts," said Terekhov.
Shelling on Kharkiv
In recent weeks, Russian forces have intensified their strikes on Kharkiv, utilizing missiles and kamikaze drones. On the evening of January 2, powerful explosions rocked Kharkiv as the Russian Federation once again targeted the city. The attack resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure.
The city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, also reported a hit near a residential building. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration noted that, according to preliminary information, occupiers struck Kharkiv with S-300 missiles.
On the evening of December 30, Russians shelled the center of Kharkiv, damaging the Kharkiv Palace hotel and a residential building. Overnight, Russians targeted Kharkiv with Shahed missiles, causing impacts in the city center.
