The occupying forces struck directly at Pavlohrad's transport artery. One person was killed and others were injured in the Russian terror attack, according to statements by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk and Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Hanzha.

According to Lukashuk, in broad daylight, "the enemy struck directly at the road."

"One person was killed and five others were injured. My sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. I wish all those injured a speedy recovery," he said.

Lukashuk noted that the distance from the outskirts of Pavlohrad to the front line in a straight line is currently about 80 km.

Hanzha clarified that a fire broke out in the city after the strike.

"Cars are on fire. All emergency services are working at the scene," he said.

It is also known that all those injured are in hospital.

"One person is in serious condition. Medics are providing assistance," the official clarified.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that five people had already been killed in Pavlohrad as a result of the Russian attack on September 10. Eight children were among those injured.

It was also reported that on August 28, the occupying forces attacked Pavlohrad. The attack caused a fire and injured four people.

In addition, Russia also attacked Pavlohrad on August 13. A logistics company was hit, causing a fire on its premises.
