On the night of June 4, a Russian drone attack damaged a bioethanol production plant in the Sumy region, causing a molasses spill. Preliminary reports indicate that at least 12 drone strikes were recorded, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reports.

The main strike targeted a bioethanol plant in the Lebedyn community. Due to the attack, a fire broke out, storage tanks were damaged, and a breach led to a molasses spill.

About 10 private homes were also damaged. Specialists are currently assessing the environmental impact of the incident. The exact extent of the damage is being clarified.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Attack on Ukraine

Russia continues its shelling of peaceful Ukrainian cities. On the night of June 4, Kharkiv was attacked with Shahed UAVs and missiles. The attack lasted for an hour and a half. Russian troops struck residential buildings, businesses, and more using missiles and drones.

Explosions also sounded in Odesa.
