Over 100 drones from five directions: Ukraine reveals details of Russia’s massive night attack

Russian forces launched 112 strike drones at Ukrainian territory overnight from June 2 to 3 from five different directions. Ukraine's air defense units destroyed 75 enemy UAVs, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"During the night of June 3, the enemy launched an attack with 112 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda - the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea," the Air Force reported.
The main directions of the enemy airstrikes were the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Odesa, and Donetsk regions.
To repel the Russian air attack, Ukraine's Defense Forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.
"As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces eliminated 75 enemy Shahed-type UAVs in the eastern, southern, and northern parts of the country. Of those, 60 were shot down with firepower, and 15 were lost from radar or suppressed by electronic warfare," the Air Force added.
In total, Russian air targets hit 11 locations in Ukraine.
Russian overnight drone strike on Ukraine on June 3
Last night, Russian forces attacked the northern, central, and southern regions of Ukraine with strike drones.
In addition, during the night of June 3, the Russians launched strike drones toward Odesa. Due to the enemy attack, four people were injured. Several buildings in the city were also damaged, and vehicle fires were reported.
