The Russian army today, on January 18, carried out airstrikes on Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, a multi-story building was affected, reports Yurii Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

"At around 13:15, Russian terrorists carried out 6 airstrikes on the city of Orikhiv," the statement reads.

It is noted that enemy bombs hit non-residential buildings and a multi-story building. An entire entrance has been destroyed.

"Piles of construction debris - all that remains of the homes of peaceful residents, their everyday life, comfort, and family happiness," the head of the region reports.

Malashko adds that experts are inspecting the impact sites. Information about casualties has not been received.

Shelling of Ukrainian settlements

Starting from the evening of January 17, Russian forces continuously launched kamikaze drones into Ukrainian territory and fired missiles at the Kharkiv region. Most of the targets were successfully intercepted, but not without consequences - there were casualties and injuries.

Occupiers also targeted the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region today. One person died, and there were injuries.

Russian occupiers once again shelled Kherson. As a result, gas supply and heating were disrupted in the Korabel district.
