Russian forces hit community near Sumy with Shahed, residential buildings damaged
Russian forces carried out an airstrike tonight on the Sadivska community near Sumy, using a Shahed-type strike drone. The shelling damaged residential buildings, reports the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Tonight, the enemy attacked the Sadivska community with a Shahed drone," the regional military administration's Telegram channel stated.
According to the administration, preliminary reports indicate that the drone strike in the settlement resulted in no casualties.
The hostile airstrike caused damage to residential buildings, affecting windows, facades, and roofs.
The administration added that relevant services are currently on the scene, and the extent of the drone strike's impact is being clarified.
In addition, the administration released photos from the site of the Russian drone attack on the Sadivska community on the night of February 2.

Additionally, around midnight, Sumy's social media channels reported an explosion that was audible in the city area. This occurred amid tonight’s enemy Shahed drone attack.
Note: The administrative center of the Sadivska rural community in the Sumy district is the village of Sad. According to open sources from 2020, its population exceeds 10,000 residents.
The village of Sad is located practically on the outskirts of Sumy, to the southwest of the city.
Nighttime Shahed attack
Earlier reports indicated that on the night of February 2, Russian forces launched several groups of strike drones toward Ukraine in another air assault. Air defense systems in the Kyiv region have already been activated following the detection of enemy drones.
An explosion was reported in Kharkiv amid a drone attack, with local authorities confirming a strike in the city's Slobidskyi district.
