A Russian strike drone attacked the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. It is currently unknown if there are any casualties from the attack, according to Suspilne, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

The explosion in Kharkiv occurred around midnight. Later, local authorities reported that a drone had struck one of the city's districts.

"We have preliminary information about a strike by an enemy drone in the Slobidskyi district. All relevant services have been dispatched to the site," Terekhov wrote on his Telegram channel.

"As of now, there is no information about casualties. Data regarding the extent of the damage is being verified," Syniehubov stated.

Russia's air attacks

On the morning of February 1, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region with drones and missiles.

As a result of the attack, a drone struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city, killing a 60-year-old woman.

Additionally, a kamikaze drone damaged homes in the village of Cherkaska Lozova in the Kharkiv region.

In total, during the night, the Russian army launched 17 drones and 6 missiles at the Kharkiv region.
