Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in one death and several injuries
Russian forces have carried out strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region using aerial weapons. The enemy bombing attack resulted in the death of one woman and left two others injured, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
The official noted that the enemy used guided aerial bombs (GAB) for the strikes.
"One woman was killed and two others were injured as a result of the GAB attack on the Zaporizhzhia region," he wrote on Twitter this morning.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration also reported that Russian forces had struck the Komyshuvakha and Novooleksandrivka communities at least four times.
"The blast wave and debris damaged private homes and property," the official's post reads.
Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region
It should be noted that settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region regularly suffer from Russian shelling.
For example, it was reported yesterday that Russian forces shelled the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring and killing civilians. The Regional Military Administration indicated that the Komyshuvakha community was affected, with two people killed and five injured in the attack.
On September 11, Russian forces targeted the Kamianske district, resulting in one death and additional injuries due to the shelling.
On September 2, a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia killed two people, including a child, with reports of two others injured.
It was also previously reported that Zaporizhzhia was hit by missile strikes on August 27, with the enemy launching ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea.
