Russian drones pound Ukraine's Sumy region, damaging warehouses and apartments

Russians carried out a massive drone attack on Romny in the Sumy region on Sunday, November 9, targeting warehouses and damaging windows of a residential building, reports Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
He said today's Russian strikes hit both border communities and districts far from the border.
"The enemy launched a massive drone strike on the Romny community. They targeted warehouse facilities of local businesses. The attack also damaged windows in a five-story residential building," Hryhorov said.
Mayor Oleh Stohniy also confirmed the attack on Romny.
"The enemy carried out another strike on the Romny community. The attack caused damage to the infrastructure. Details on the consequences are being clarified," he wrote on Facebook.
Stohniy added that from 4:00 PM Kyiv time, a headquarters was deployed to respond to the consequences of the enemy strikes, involving communal services of the community and relevant agencies. Footage is circulating online showing the moment a drone struck Romny.
Additionally, Hryhorov reported that in the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 45-year-old woman was injured by a drone strike. She was hospitalized and is receiving necessary medical care.
Russian attack on Ukraine's Sumy
Earlier today, Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, said Russians struck the residential sector of Sumy with an unknown munition, damaging private homes in the Kovpakivskyi district. Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar reported damage to a wooden utility structure, five windows, and the roof of a residential building.
The head of the Regional Military Administration confirmed the attack on the Kovpakivskyi district, noting that residential and non-residential buildings were damaged and assistance is being provided to residents.
