Russian drones hit warehouses in Odesa region in Ukraine, fire erupts

During the night of October 13, Russian forces once again attacked civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region with drones. One person was reported injured, according to the State Emergency Service and the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Despite the active work of air defense forces, several drones reached their targets, causing severe destruction.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the strikes sparked a large fire covering more than 5,000 square meters. The fire engulfed several warehouse buildings where fabrics, clothing, and packaging materials were stored. One vehicle was also burned.
"A heavy fire load and the lack of a firefighting water supply at the site complicated the elimination of the consequences. Firefighters organized a continuous water supply from nearby sources," the State Emergency Service reported.
Sixteen units of equipment and 56 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, as well as fire units of the National Guard and volunteers, were involved in eliminating the consequences.
Rescuers continue to work at the scene, addressing the aftermath of another enemy attack.
Attacks on October 13
In the evening of October 12, the Russian army launched several groups of attack drones. Enemy UAVs were observed in different regions of the country. Around 2 a.m. on October 13, explosions were heard in the Odesa region.
Kharkiv also came under drone attack that night.
