The Russian army launched 59 attacks on Chernihiv region over the past day, using FPV drones and Geran types, according to the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

"The enemy also used drones of the Geran, Lancet, and Molniya types. Twenty-nine settlements across six territorial communities came under fire," the statement said.

In the Nizhyn district, a Russian drone struck an energy facility. In the Horodnia community, another drone hit a special-purpose vehicle.

In Semenivka, an FPV drone strike caused a fire in a two-apartment residential building. The explosion damaged the roof, a passenger car, and windows in a neighboring house. The fire was promptly extinguished by a unit of the State Emergency Service.

In Novhorod-Siverskyi, a Russian drone hit a gas station.

"Work continues across Chernihiv region to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes on energy facilities. Scheduled hourly power outages remain in effect. As yesterday, the duration of outages today may be shorter," the regional administration noted.

As reported earlier, Russian attacks left the entire Donetsk region without electricity after targeted strikes on the region’s energy infrastructure.

Meanwhile, repair work continues in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi following an overnight drone attack that damaged critical infrastructure.

It is also noted that this morning, Russian forces launched new groups of drones. Air raid alerts were declared in several northern regions and in Kyiv.

According to the Air Force, overnight the Russian army launched 118 attack drones and one Kh-31 missile across Ukrainian territory.
