On the morning of July 10, Russia struck Konotop in Ukraine's Sumy region with Shahed drones, according to Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin.

Semenikhin said that two jet-powered drones were heading toward the city. Unfortunately, there were consequences. According to the mayor, a man was injured in the attack on the city.

"We have a strike in the city center. A 70-year-old man has been injured. A school, a hospital, boiler houses..." he wrote.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities as a result of the attack.

Semenikhin also showed the aftermath of the enemy strike on the city center. The photos show damaged buildings, shattered windows, and debris scattered everywhere.

The day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would receive a new package of anti-ballistic missiles for Patriot systems from the United States in the coming days.

According to him, additional deliveries of PAC-3 missiles were also discussed with European partners, although no specific timeline has been announced yet.

Meanwhile, on the night of July 10, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing 137 attack drones.

According to the Air Force, air defense forces managed to shoot down or suppress 114 enemy drones, but hits by 18 drones were recorded at 16 locations.
