Russian drones attacked Ukraine from six directions overnight, Air Force says

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight on December 25 using strike drones from six directions. Most hostile targets were destroyed by air defense forces, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"On the night of December 25 (from 19:00 on December 24), the enemy attacked with 131 strike UAVs of Shahed type, Gerbera, and drones of other types from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Donetsk — temporarily occupied territory, Hvardiiske, Chauda — temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about 90 of them were Shaheds," the Air Force said.
It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 106 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as other types of drones, in the north, south, and east of the country. At the same time, impacts of 22 strike UAVs were recorded at 15 locations.
"The enemy continues the drone attack. Follow safety rules," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.
Overnight attack on Ukraine on December 25
On the night of December 25, the enemy again struck the port and industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and two others were injured.
The attack also caused damage to administrative, production, and warehouse facilities. Fires broke out at some sites, which rescuers extinguished.
Residents of the Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr regions were also warned about the threat of drone strikes. In addition, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv overnight.
