Russian drones attack railway in Ukraine's Chernihiv region: Train traffic suspended

The Russians have again attacked the Nizhyn district in Chernihiv region with drones, targeting the area near the Nosivka-Nizhyn railway station. Train traffic has been delayed, according to the Nizhyn City Council.

Local authorities are urging residents of the area to remain in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted.
Russian strikes on Chernihiv region
Over the past day, Russia has attacked the Chernihiv region 20 times.
On October 7, the Russians launched another strike on Novhorod-Siverskyi. Several strike drones hit a civilian facility, causing fires.
Explosions were heard in 13 settlements in the region. Russia also struck the Nizhyn district, the Koriukivka and the Novhorod-Siverskyi districts.
There were also reports of a Russian attack on Pryluky on October 7, with Russia striking critical infrastructure in the city and leaving the population without electricity.
According to the regional military administration, hourly power cuts will be in effect in the region today. If the situation improves, energy suppliers will further reduce the restrictions.
A difficult situation with energy supplies was also reported in Chernihiv, which was also under Russian fire.
