Russian drone targets Ukrainian rescuers in frontline Zaporizhzhia town

Russian forces attacked rescuers with a drone in the frontline Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The attack occurred while rescuers were putting out a fire in a passenger car in Huliaipole, the State Emergency Service said.
"The fire-rescue vehicle was damaged. Fortunately, no personnel were injured," the agency added.
Huliaipole, a city in the Zaporizhzhia region, lies just a few kilometers from the front line. It regularly faces Russian attacks.

Russian attacks on Ukrainian rescuers
Since the full-scale war began, the Russian army has repeatedly targeted Ukrainian rescuers. In particular, it has launched follow-up strikes on sites where State Emergency Service units were already working.
At the end of July, Russian forces attacked a village in the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. The strike caused a truck to catch fire. When rescuers arrived to extinguish it, they came under a second attack.
A day earlier, rescuers were hit by a Russian strike in Kropyvnytskyi. The attack damaged a State Emergency Service unit building and its equipment.
