Russian drone targets gas station in Chernihiv

On the afternoon of Sunday, October 5, the Russian army once again carried out a drone strike on the city of Chernihiv, according to the Telegram channel of Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration.
"The enemy continues to attack our city. An enemy drone hit a gas station," he said.
According to the Air Forces, Russian forces launched new groups of drones from the northern direction as early as 7 a.m. The enemy UAVs were recorded near Chernihiv and were moving northeast.
It is worth noting that today the Russians attacked the city’s energy infrastructure with Shahed drones. According to the regional administration, a fire broke out at the site of impact. The enemy also targeted an energy facility, causing emergency power outages in one of the city districts.
Massive strike on October 5
On the night of Sunday, October 5, the Russian Federation carried out a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine. The occupiers used drones, cruise missiles, and Kinzhal missiles. Lviv and the surrounding region were hit hardest — drones struck the area first, followed by missiles launched from the Black Sea.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Russians launched over 50 missiles and about 500 strike drones, including cruise missiles, Shaheds, and Kinzhal missiles.
