Today, May 21, Russian occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih with Shahed drones. An industrial enterprise was hit, leaving one person injured, according to the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

According to Vilkul, Russian forces carried out a Shahed drone strike on one of the city’s industrial facilities.

“A man born in 1973 was injured. His condition is not serious, and he is receiving all necessary medical assistance,” he said.

Emergency crews are currently working at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the strike. Relevant services continue their operations.

Attacks on Kryvyi Rih

Russian troops continue to systematically attack the Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles and strike drones, while Kryvyi Rih regularly comes under enemy fire.

On the night of May 19, Russian forces once again attacked the city with Shahed drones. A 41-year-old woman was injured, and around 10 residential buildings were damaged, some of them suffering severe destruction.

Before that, the Russian army struck a residential building in Kryvyi Rih.

According to local authorities, a Shahed drone hit the building directly. A 43-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were killed in the attack. A nine-month-old baby sustained severe injuries.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the time called the strike cynical and said it had no military purpose whatsoever.

Russian forces also attacked Kryvyi Rih during the so-called ceasefire regime. In that attack, Shahed drones damaged city infrastructure.
