Russian drone strikes Kyiv university: First photos emerge

On Wednesday, September 2, Russian forces struck one of Kyiv's universities. It later became known that the National University of Food Technologies was hit, according to Minister of Education and Science Andrii Butenko and a post by the university's press service.
"Today, Russia struck the National University of Food Technologies. University buildings were damaged. There were no casualties among students or faculty," he noted.
The minister also thanked the university's administration and staff, who organized the educational process with all security risks taken into account.
The first photos have also emerged showing what the National University of Food Technologies looks like after the Russian attack.

"This morning, Russia struck our university. Unfortunately, some of the buildings have sustained significant damage. The number of casualties is being clarified," the university said in a statement.
The educational institution stressed that a university is first and foremost its people, and "as long as we are together, it cannot be destroyed."
Russian forces attacked Kyiv today. Several hours ago, a fire broke out in the capital following a Russian strike. Rescuers extinguished the fire in the Holosiivskyi district.
In addition, Russian forces struck a warehouse building in Kyiv with drones.
