Russian drone strike on Ukraine's Odesa region damages port infrastructure and destroys kindergarten

Russian forces attacked the civilian and port infrastructure of the Odesa region with strike drones during the night of February 27. Two people were injured, port and houses were damaged, kindergarten was destroyed, head of Odesa regional administration Oleh Kiper reports.
"The enemy attacked the civilian and port infrastructure of the Odesa region with an unmanned aerial vehicle. Unfortunately, two people were injured — three-and-a-half-year-old girl and a forty-four-year-old man. Both were hospitalized in moderate condition. All necessary medical assistance is being provided to them," Kiper reported.

According to him, damage was recorded to the port reservoirs and the construction crane, facade, and glazing of residential buildings, vehicles, a medical facility, and buildings were destroyed.
Emergency and municipal services continue working at sites. Law enforcement agencies are documenting another war crime of Russia against the civilian population of the Odesa region.
Attack on Ukraine on February 27
During the night of February 27, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with nearly two hundred unmanned aerial vehicles. Most enemy targets were eliminated by air defense forces.
At the same time, hits of twenty strike drones were recorded at fourteen locations.
In particular, toward morning, Russians attacked the center of Sumy. As a result of the attack, fire broke out in the hotel, and rescuers evacuated about fifty people.
During the extinguishing of the fire, Russians carried out a second strike on rescuers. No personnel were injured, fire was promptly extinguished.
