Russia launches double strike on hotel in Ukraine's Sumy: Aftermath revealed

Russia attacked the center of Sumy in the early morning. Russian strikes caused a fire, and rescuers evacuated about 50 people, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Russia struck the hotel, and during the firefighting operation, there was a second attack. The strike hit the city's central area. Rescuers evacuated 50 citizens," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine says.
While extinguishing the fire, the Russians launched a second strike on the rescuers. None of the personnel was injured, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
The National Police of Ukraine emphasizes that Russia struck the center of the regional capital at around 4 a.m. Kyiv time, and police and rescuers are working at the scene.

Russian strikes on Sumy and region
Russian troops attack Sumy and communities in the region daily with strike drones and guided aerial bombs. Recently, Russian troops launched an air strike on a residential area of Sumy. 3 people were injured in the Russian attack, including 2 children.
In addition, on the night of February 17, at around 3:10 a.m., Russian troops attacked the Kyrykivka community in the Sumy region with 3 drones. Residential buildings belonging to residents were hit.
A 68-year-old woman was killed in the Russian attack. Her relatives were injured: her 42-year-old son, 40-year-old daughter-in-law, and two children aged 7 and 15. A 79-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were injured in a neighboring house.
Earlier, a Russian drone struck a civilian car carrying a family—a man, a woman, and their daughter. All three were injured, with the 66-year-old woman suffering severe injuries.
