Russian airstrike on Sumy injures two children and a woman

Russian forces carried out an airstrike on a private residential area in Sumy. As a result of the attack, three people were injured, including two children, according to the National Police.
According to law enforcement officials, the strike occurred at around 4 a.m. Preliminary information indicates that the injured include children aged 5 and 17, as well as a 70-year-old woman. She was hospitalized, and all victims are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

Strikes on Sumy region
On the night of February 17, at around 3:10 a.m., Russian forces attacked the Kyrykivka community in Sumy region with three drones. Residential homes of local residents came under fire.
As a result of the attack, a 68-year-old woman was killed. Her relatives were injured — her 42-year-old son, 40-year-old daughter-in-law, and two children aged 7 and 15. In a neighboring house, a 79-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were also injured.
It was also previously reported that a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle carrying a family — a man, a woman, and their daughter. All three were injured, with the 66-year-old woman sustaining severe injuries.
