During the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of January 3, a woman was injured. At the same time, all the targets heading for the capital were shot down, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Russia struck Kyiv with a drone, the alert began at 4 a.m. Kyiv time and lasted over 3 hours.
“Fortunately, we managed to avoid significant damage. A young woman was injured and suffered a burn on her hand, she refused to be hospitalized,” said Tkachenko.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed most of the Russian drones on the outskirts of Kyiv, but there is debris falling in Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
Russian attack on Kyiv and region
On the night of January 3, Russian troops attacked Kyiv and the region with drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defense systems were operating in the Kyiv region.

In the Kyiv region, 4 people were injured and one person was killed by the Russian drone. The deceased, a truck driver, died on the spot. Drone debris also fell on a residential building.
