Russian drone strike kills workers at factory near Kyiv

A strike on a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv region killed a worker who was on duty at the time, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Strike on the enterprise
The enemy attacked a civilian food industry enterprise. At the time of the strike, people were at their workplaces.
One employee was killed. Four others sustained injuries of varying severity.
"The enemy attacked a peaceful civilian food industry enterprise. People who were simply doing their jobs at their workplaces at that moment," Kalashnyk said.
Fire and rescue operation
An administrative building caught fire on the enterprise's premises, and some structures were partially destroyed.
According to operational data, people may still be inside. Rescuers have already managed to pull two employees from under the rubble.
All necessary emergency services are working at the scene. Search operations and efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.
The death toll from the attack on the food enterprise in the Brovary district has risen to four.
The State Emergency Service released photos of the damaged factory near Kyiv. The images show that the Yagotynske enterprise (a dairy products manufacturer) was hit in the attack.

"Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the scene. Information regarding the dead and injured is being clarified," the statement said.
On the night of June 5, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine involving 216 attack drones and two guided missiles. Air defenses shot down 198 drones, but impacts were recorded at 13 locations.
On June 4, Russia attacked a road maintenance crew with a drone while they were repairing a roadway. Ten pieces of specialized equipment were destroyed, but no people were injured.
