Russian drone strike kills one, injures another in Pavlohrad; homes hit in Dnipro

Dnipro, Pavlohrad, and other cities in Dnipropetrovsk region came under drone attack by Russian forces overnight. The strikes resulted in one fatality and one girl injured, and fires were reported, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, a man was killed and a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of drone strikes in Pavlohrad. The official added that the child is under medical supervision.
In addition, two apartment buildings were damaged in Pavlohrad, and a fire broke out in one of the structures.

There was also damage in the Pavlohrad district, in the Verbkivska community, caused by a drone strike — the enemy hit an agricultural enterprise. As a result of the attack, 500 livestock animals were killed.
"It was loud in the regional center as well. In Dnipro, windows were shattered in four apartment buildings and several stores," Lysak reported.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Dnipro added that as a result of the overnight Russian attack, at least 150 windows were shattered in seven apartment buildings across the city. He clarified that "the shopfronts of ordinary stores on the ground floors were also smashed."
"No residents have sought medical attention so far. I hope it stays that way. The debris radius is quite large. Municipal workers have already begun clearing glass, tree branches, and construction debris from nearby streets," the mayor reported.
In addition, Filatov noted that the city's trolleybus power lines were also damaged but have already been repaired.

As a result of the airstrike, damage has been reported at two enterprises in the Mezhova and Slavgorod communities of the Synelnykove district. The head of the Regional Military Administration reported that a local house and garage were also destroyed.

Additionally, in the morning, the Russians launched an attack on Nikopol using the Grad multiple rocket launcher system. Eight private houses, four outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the city. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Lysak also reported that during the night of April 27, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 13 enemy strike drones.
Nighttime drone attack
Recall that on the evening of April 26, Russian occupiers launched several groups of kamikaze drones towards Ukraine, prompting air alerts in several regions due to the threat of drone strikes.
Additionally, air defense systems were active during the night in Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Furthermore, there were reports of explosions in Dnipro and Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
