Russian drone slams into supermarket in Ukraine's Chernihiv, leaving people dead

A drone crashed into a supermarket in the ZAZ district of Chernihiv city in northern Ukraine. According to preliminary information, two people were killed, Chernihiv City Military Administration chief Dmytro Bryzhynskyi reports.
The UAV crashed into a supermarket in the ZAZ district. Authorities have confirmed that two people were killed, including a 10-year-old child. Four others were injured, with one person reported to be in critical condition.
As of 5:05 p.m., the number of injured has risen to seven.

As previously reported, Chernihiv city and the surrounding region have been subjected to regular Russian attacks in recent weeks.
On July 11, Russian forces struck a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv. An employee of the site was injured, and windows in three private homes were damaged.
In late June, Russia launched a massive Shahed drone attack on Chernihiv, with more than a dozen explosions reported across the city within 20 minutes.
