Russian drone hits railway station in Ukraine's Sumy region, woman injured

Russian forces on Monday, September 1, struck a railway station in the Sumy region with a drone. A woman was injured in the attack, according to Ukrzaliznytsia.
"As a result of an enemy drone strike near a railway station in the Sumy region, the station duty officer was injured," the statement said.
The woman was quickly taken by ambulance to the Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital. Her condition is stable. Doctors diagnosed her with head injuries and a concussion, and she is currently receiving all necessary medical care.

Earlier that night, Russia launched another large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 86 drones. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 76 Shahed drones and decoys over the country’s northern, southern, eastern, and central regions.
Despite significant efforts by Ukrainian air defenses, 10 strike drones hit six different locations.
In the Kyiv region, two districts reported damage after the massive drone attack. An enterprise and warehouses were hit by the enemy.
Meanwhile, in the city of Sumy, part of the population was left without a water supply due to Russian attack.
