On the night of September 1, Russian troops launched 86 drones against Ukraine from six directions. Most of the drones were shot down, but there were strikes in six locations, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

That night, Russian troops launched 86 Shahed strike drones and decoy UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Hvardiiske in Crimea.

The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 76 Russian drones in the north, south, east, and center of the country.

“Ten strike UAV hits in six locations were recorded,” the statement said.

Attacks on Ukraine

On the night of Monday, September 1, the Russian army launched several groups of Shahed strike drones from the northern direction.

Before that, the Russians launched 142 drones of various types against Ukraine. The Air Force reported 16 strike UAV hits in 10 locations and the fall of downed debris in 6 locations.
