On Tuesday, July 14, Russian forces struck a residential high-rise in Kharkiv with a kamikaze drone. The UAV flew into an apartment on the third floor, triggering a fire, according to statements from Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"The enemy struck a residential high-rise in the Shevchenkivskyi district with a drone. The UAV hit a window, causing a fire to break out," Syniehubov said.

According to preliminary information, no casualties were initially reported. All emergency services were deployed to the impact site.

Later, Syniehubov said that one person had been injured in the attack and was receiving all necessary medical assistance.

On the night of July 12, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and Dnipro with strike drones. The attacks damaged civilian infrastructure in both cities, sparked fires, and left several people injured.

Earlier, on the morning of July 11, Russian troops launched a drone attack on Kharkiv. One of the UAVs struck a civilian enterprise, injuring several people.

On July 8, the Russian army also carried out a massive attack on Kharkiv. A missile struck a five-story residential building in the Nemyshlianskyi district, killing two people and injuring dozens of residents, including children.

Later that day, a strike drone hit a gas station in the city's Kyivskyi district, triggering a fire.
