Russian drone hits apartment building in Donetsk region, child among wounded

On the night of June 26, Russian troops attacked a five-story residential building in the city of Bilozerske, Donetsk region, with a drone. After the hit, a fire broke out, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The attack took place around two in the morning. Russian troops hit the house with a Geran-2 attack drone.
According to the prosecutor's office, five civilians were injured in the attack. Among the victims was an 86-year-old woman who was in her apartment. A 15-year-old boy and his mother were also injured. They were diagnosed with mine-blast traumas, bruises, shrapnel wounds, closed fractures, and other injuries. All the victims were provided with medical aid.
The strike damaged three apartment buildings and seven cars.
Prosecutors have launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.

Russia's attack on Ukraine
On the night of June 26, Russian troops launched 41 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against Ukraine. The main areas of attack were the frontline territories of the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. The strikes were recorded in seven locations.
The number of victims of Russian missile strikes on Dnipro and the neighboring city of Samar on June 24 increased to 22.
