In June 2025, Kyiv and the Kyiv region came under a large-scale Russian drone attack.
On June 6 and 10 alone, more than 1,900 tons of harmful substances were released into the region's air.
According to preliminary estimates, the environmental damage exceeded UAH 5.7 million (USD 137,000).
Russian attacks resulted in the massive burning of fuel, building materials, plastic, and machinery without any filtration of harmful emissions into the air.
